DCG Tech Raises INR 15 Crore in Funding Led by GVFL

DCG Tech, a business-to-business (B2B) platform that offers packaging and warehouse solutions and helps companies buy supplies, has raised INR 15 crore in a pre-Series A funding round.

The funding was led by GVF, which invested INR 10 crore. Other investors in the round included Auxano Capital and the company’s promoters.

Before this round, the Gurugram-based company had raised $3.31 million in seed funding from Venture Catalysts.

DCG said in a press release that the new funds will be used to grow the business faster, improve its technology platform, and expand into international markets.

DCG Tech was co-founded in 2005 by Suresh Bansal and Subhasish Chakraborty. The company helps small and medium businesses (MSMEs), as well as e-commerce and quick-commerce brands, with their packaging needs by offering a simple and affordable all-in-one solution.

DCG provides services like “Design to Distribution,” “Packaging as a Service,” “EcoPac” for eco-friendly packaging, and the “ProPac Platform.” These solutions are designed to make packaging more efficient and cost-effective for businesses of all sizes.

DCG says it has served over 60,000 customers and delivered more than 750 million packaging products. The company operates through eight fulfillment centres and six sales offices, along with a Design and Innovation Centre.

DCG also has a subsidiary in Dubai, helping it reach international markets and grow its global presence.

“With the backing of GVFL and other investors, and our roadmap of smart manufacturing, AI-based technology, and sustainable packaging solutions, we are poised to lead the next phase of growth in the B2B commerce space. Our goal is to become India’s most preferred packaging and commerce platform for businesses,” said Suresh Bansal, founder & CEO of DCG.

DCG states that it offers a tech-enabled, end-to-end procurement and distribution platform that provides over 10,000 SKUs across 78 categories.
