Dream11 Launches Dream Play for Real Money Casual Gaming

Dream Sports, the company behind Dream11 has started a new app called Dream Play for real-money casual games. In 2021, Dream11 said they didn’t plan to enter money-based games like rummy, but now they have.

Dream Play is available on the Google Play Store, but it also asks users to download a full version from its website.

This full version lets players play skill-based multiplayer games for cash prizes, with Carrom as the main game right now. Since the Google Play Store in India only allows fantasy sports and rummy apps, the full version offers more games.

Players can join one-on-one matches in Classic or Freestyle modes or take part in big Mega Contests where the player with the highest score during a set time wins a prize. More games, like Pool, are coming soon.

According to App Brain, Dream Play has been on the Play Store for at least three weeks.

With this, Dream Sports is entering the growing real-money casual gaming market, competing with companies like Mobile Premier League (MPL), WinZO, Zupee, and Games24x7—many of which also have fantasy sports apps.

The launch of Dream Play shows that Dream Sports wants to expand beyond just fantasy sports. The company hasn’t made an official announcement about this yet.

Dream Sports runs FanCode, a platform where fans can watch live cricket, buy sports merchandise, and get match passes.

They also have a cricket simulation mobile game, which helps them grow their presence in the sports technology world.
