Duaya acquires EXMGO in six-figure deal and unveils Duaya Go

Duaya, a top digital transformation company in the healthcare sector, has acquired EXMGO, a company that provides SaaS solutions for pharmacies and medical businesses. The deal was a six-figure investment, though the exact amount was not disclosed.

This acquisition is an important step for digitizing pharmacies and improving e-commerce solutions in Egypt, helping the healthcare sector become more modern and technology-driven.

Duaya, founded in 2021 by Dr. Ahmed Fazara, has quickly become a key player in digital healthcare. The company works with over 500 medical suppliers and manufacturers and serves more than 12,000 clients, including pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, and laboratories.

With a growth rate of over 200% in a short time, Duaya has shown that its business model is strong and scalable, making it a leading name in the healthcare technology sector.

Duaya plans to grow its client base to 25,000 by the end of this year and aims to enter new markets in the GCC in 2026.

The acquisition of EXMGO fits Duaya’s goal of expanding its digital services portfolio. EXMGO provides SaaS solutions that let pharmacies and businesses create their own branded apps and websites, manage online sales, inventory, payments, and communicate directly with customers. After the acquisition, Duaya relaunched the service as “Duaya Go” with new advanced features.

Dr. Ahmed Fazara, Founder and CEO of Duaya, said, “The acquisition of EXMGO is part of our strategy to serve a larger segment of pharmacies and medical companies. It reflects our clear vision to digitise pharmacies and transform traditional sales operations into platform-based digital processes. This step will enhance market efficiency and deliver a seamless and professional purchasing experience for customers.”

Eng. Islam Nasr, CEO of EXMGO, said, “Joining Duaya marks a significant leap. EXMGO offers deep expertise in developing SaaS solutions for pharmacies, and with Duaya’s potential and resources, we can now serve thousands of pharmacies more effectively and support their transformation to e-commerce rapidly and efficiently.”

In 2024, Duaya received new investment after its successful appearance on the “Shark Tank” programme. This funding helped the company innovate further and provide more advanced digital solutions for healthcare.

Duaya is using this move to strengthen its leadership in Egypt and support its expansion plans across the MENA region, showing its importance in healthcare digitalisation.

Duaya is also unique in the MENA region for offering a single platform that covers clinics, hospitals, laboratories, and pharmacies. The company even has its own software department, acting as a software house for healthcare.
