Egyptian startup Nowlun, which focuses on digitizing shipping services, has raised an additional $600,000 in seed funding.
Ingressive Capital led the round and brought the total funding to $2.3 million, with support from earlier investors like Nama Ventures, A15, and Sanabil 500 Global.
Noolun plans to use the new funding to build smart tools, including an AI-powered logistics assistant. This assistant will give instant suggestions and insights to help shipping companies make quicker, cheaper, and more accurate decisions.

The company also wants to grow its team by hiring more talent.
In addition, Nowlun aims to expand its operations in both Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Nowlun was founded by Moataz Khamis, Mahmoud Khaled, and Ahmed Amara. The startup focuses on making global sea freight easier for businesses in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
They specialize in full container load (FCL) and bulk shipping and offer real-time cargo tracking with instant updates for their customers.
