Egypt’s eYouth Enters Iraq with First Arabic Digital Learning Platform

eYouth, an Egypt-founded edtech company, has announced its expansion into Iraq with the launch of eYouth Iraq. This marks the company’s entry into a new market in the Middle East and Africa region.

As part of this expansion, eYouth has introduced Iraq’s first Arabic-language digital learning platform focused on building skills that match real job market needs.

The expansion is being done through a strategic partnership with Al-Majal Group, one of Iraq’s leading private sector companies.

Founded in Egypt in 2016, eYouth has grown into a major regional edtech platform. It offers accessible, high-quality, and customised online learning solutions and has already expanded into countries like Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

eYouth currently serves more than 4 million learners across 21 countries, making it one of the leading digital learning platforms in the region.

The partnership aims to improve job readiness in Iraq by offering training programs designed for high-demand sectors. These programs will support youth, fresh graduates and working professionals who want to upgrade their skills and stay competitive.

eYouth will bring its experience in digital learning and workforce training while Al-Majal Group will provide local market knowledge and industry connections. The platform will work with government bodies, public institutions and private employers to ensure courses match national goals and employer needs. All content will be Arabic-first, follow international quality standards, and focus on practical skills and employability.

Commenting on the partnership, Engineer Mustafa Abd Ellatif, Co-Founder and CEO of eYouth, said, “Establishing eYouth Iraq is a strategic step toward building a sustainable talent development ecosystem in the country. Our goal is to work hand in hand with government institutions and private-sector partners to ensure that education is directly connected to real labour market needs. This platform will empower Iraqi youth with practical, future-ready skills and open new pathways to meaningful employment and active economic participation.”

Ali Agha Jaffar, Chairman and CEO of Al-Majal Group, added: “Developing human capital is a cornerstone of Iraq’s long-term growth and economic resilience. This partnership with eYouth reflects our commitment to supporting Iraqi youth through accessible, high-quality education that responds to the real needs of employers. By collaborating with both public and private stakeholders, we aim to create sustainable value for individuals, businesses, and the national economy.”

The initiative also helps build strong local talent, improve the competitiveness of private companies and support Iraq’s economic and social growth through modern and easy-to-scale education solutions.
