Escape Plan Secures $5 Million in Seed Funding Led by Jungle Ventures

Escape Plan is a startup that focuses on lifestyle and travel.

The company has raised $5 million in funding. The round was led by Jungle Ventures (through its First Cheque@Jungle program) and Fireside Ventures.

Other angel investors also joined this funding round.

Escape Plan will use the money to add more products, build up its stock, work with popular brands, and grow its fast delivery service. It also plans to open over 100 new stores in the next 18 to 24 months.

“Indian consumers today are exposed to global tastes but left with few local choices that reflect that sensibility. The founders bring hard-won lessons from retail and tech, and their approach to product, distribution, and customer experience is a genuine departure from the category’s legacy players, addressing a clear whitespacein the Indian consumer market,” shared Rishab Malik, Partner, Seed investments, at Jungle Ventures.

“From a solution standpoint, we’re not a luggage brand; we’re a platform. Our focus is on solving for every micro category, however small, with a distinct approach tailored to different customer needs and experiences. We’re also building a rewards ecosystem and exploring services like second-hand purchases and refurbishment. The goal is to create a focused platform that addresses all the needs of a traveller, with quick delivery and multi-brand retail stores,” said Abhinav Pathak, Co-founder and CEO of Escape Plan

Escape Plan was started in 2025 by Abhinav Pathak and Abhinav Zutshi. The company is based in Bengaluru.

It sells travel bags and accessories for everyday use and trips. Their products include luggage, backpacks, laptop and gym bags, neck pillows, passport covers, belts, wallets, and other travel items.

Escape Plan will reach customers through its stores, fast local delivery, and fun shopping experiences.

It sells both its products and items from other brands on its platform.
