Evera Cabs Raises $4 Million from Mufin Green Finance to Boost EV Expansion

Taxi service Evera Cabs has raised $4 million in funding from Mufin Green Finance. The funding includes a mix of debt and convertible debentures (a type of loan that can later be turned into company shares).

Evera Cabs was co-founded in 2019 by Vikas Bansal, Rajeev Tiwari, and Nimish Trivedi. It runs through a mobile app and offers safe, comfortable, and eco-friendly taxi rides.

The company is part of Prakriti E-Mobility, which focuses on clean and sustainable energy solutions.

Evera works with many corporate clients in the B2B space and focuses its B2C services mainly on airport travel. It follows a no-cancellation and no-surge pricing policy to make rides more reliable and stress-free.

The company’s goal is to cut down carbon emissions and make everyday travel better, helping customers choose more eco-friendly ways to get around.

“At Evera, our core focus has always been delivering a clean-tech-powered, seamless, and disruption-free commuting experience,” said Nimish Trivedi, co-founder and CEO.

In May, Evera began taking back 500 electric cabs that BluSmart earlier used after BluSmart paused its services in major cities.

At the same time, Evera announced plans to grow its airport services by expanding across all terminals at Delhi’s airport.
