F6 Group, a newly formed company combining venture capital and startup support, has officially launched. It brings together two key parts: F6 Ventures, a new seed-stage investment firm, and Flat6Labs, one of the most well-known startup accelerator programs in the Middle East and Africa.
This marks a major step forward in the company’s 14-year journey, giving it a stronger focus, wider reach and more tools to support startups and entrepreneurs across the region.
At the center of this new setup is F6 Ventures, the group’s venture capital arm. It manages six funds with over $90 million in assets and has already backed over 300 startups. F6 Ventures focuses on early-stage and seed investments in the Middle East and Africa, helping fill a major funding gap during the most critical stage of startup growth.
The firm was co-founded by Dina el-Shenoufy and Ramez El-Serafy, who previously led Flat6Labs. They are now using their experience and network to support innovative founders, grow tech startups, and deliver long-term value across the region.
“F6 Ventures marks a new era in our journey, bringing focused capital and sharper execution to support the region’s boldest founders,” said Dina el-Shenoufy, Co-Founder and General Partner at F6 Ventures. “We are extending our commitment to early-stage startups to help them scale from idea to impact.”
F6 Ventures, headquartered in Cairo and supported by F6 Group’s strong regional presence and history of supporting entrepreneurs, also has offices in Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Amman, Tunis, and Nairobi.
The firm is led by regional partners Eyad Albayouk, Ryaan Sharif, Rasha Manna, Walid Triki, and Christine Namara—a team with decades of experience in venture capital, entrepreneurship, and growing markets across the Middle East and Africa.
“Over more than a decade, we’ve empowered thousands of founders and helped bold ideas grow into market-leading startups. I’m excited to begin this new chapter with F6 Ventures, helping founders scale faster and drive the next wave of innovation,” said Ramez El-Serafy, Co-Founder and General Partner at F6 Ventures.
Flat6Labs, now led by newly appointed CEO Yehia Houry, will continue under its well-known brand name. It is sharpening its focus on supporting founders, driving innovation, and helping startup ecosystems grow in emerging markets. With over 14 years of experience, Flat6Labs remains the region’s top platform for startup programs and entrepreneur support.
Both Flat6Labs and F6 Ventures now operate under F6 Group, which is led by Dina el-Shenoufy as CEO and Hany Al Sonbaty as Founder and Chairman. Together, they offer a combined strategy that blends venture capital with hands-on support to boost innovation across emerging markets.
Looking ahead, F6 Ventures plans to launch several new regional funds across Africa, the GCC, and the Levant, aiming to grow its assets under management to $200 million and invest in over 200 startups in the next five years.
F6 Group brings both funding and founder support under one roof, offering startups across emerging markets the capital, programs, and expert guidance they need to grow into market leaders.
