Faye Raises $50 Mn Series C to Expand AI-Powered Travel Insurance Platform

The funding round was led by Madrona. Other investors included BRM, along with existing investors such as Portage, F2 Venture Capital, Viola Ventures, and Lumir Ventures.

Faye has developed a digital platform for travel insurance and travel assistance, helping travelers access insurance coverage and support services more easily while they are on their trips.

“We had the opportunity to raise significantly more in this round, but we are currently in a balanced position and approaching profitability,” Schaffer said. “We have never raised excessive amounts of capital, and that has always worked in our favor. We raise what we need, and today our financial position is very strong.”

“Today, we already do this for smaller medical incidents and flight cancellations, where customers receive automatic compensation from us,” Schaffer said. “We want to continue expanding these capabilities.”

“We will continue growing and hiring employees responsibly,” Schaffer said. “We are still a relatively small company compared with a business that already generates more than $100 million in revenue. We have never conducted layoffs while growing, and we believe we will also pursue acquisitions of companies in our sector.”
