Flipkart, a part of the Walmart-owned Flipkart Group, which also includes group companies Flipkart Wholesale, Flipkart Health+, Cleartrip, and Myntra has appointed Dan Bartlett to its Board. Bartlett is the Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs, at Walmart.

His current role at Walmart involves managing public policy, sustainable development plans, and the firm’s architecture, which includes building a new headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Before his stint at Walmart, Bartlett served in several executive positions at public relations firms, Hill+Knowlton Strategies and Public Strategies, Inc. Before joining the PR industry, Bartlett served in public service in capacities in politics, where he worked in key positions in several political policy campaigns for George W. Bush and held a counsellor’s position when Bush was at the White House.
