Granite Asia Enhances Credit Expertise with Ming Eng as Partner

Granite Asia, Asia’s leading multi-asset investment platform, announced today that Ming Eng has joined the firm as a Partner, reporting to Senior Managing Partners Jenny Lee and Jixun Foo.

Based in Singapore, Ming will be responsible for co-managing Granite Asia’s credit solution offerings, including investment strategy, fundraising, and general operations.

Ming brings 20 years of experience in financial and capital markets with a strong track record in private credit across Asia. She was previously a Managing Partner at Orion Capital Asia, a private debt manager focused on middle-market direct lending in the region. She was a member of the investment committee and responsible for the firm’s investment activities, including origination, underwriting, and portfolio management. Having co-led the management buy-out and rebranding of Olympus Capital Asia Credit in 2020, Ming played a key role in executing the strategy, building out the team, and expanding assets under management from global institutional investors.

Prior to Orion, Ming held senior roles at VTB Capital and Macquarie Bank in their Asia private financing businesses and earlier in her career, she worked at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong under Global Investment Research. Ming holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington.
