A strategic partnership has been established between HashKey Group, a prominent provider of digital asset services in Asia, and Kaia, formerly known as Klaytn. This partnership is expected to hasten the deployment of Web3 technology in Asian and international markets.
The collaboration aims to improve security, content production, and digital money. It aligns with Kaia and Finschia’s recent merger, which was approved on February 15. Developed by Line Tech Plus, a division of the massive Japanese messaging company Line, Finschia is a blockchain platform designed to provide digital services to Line’s large user base.
The press release states that the cooperation between HashKey and Kaia intends to facilitate the merging of Kaia and Finschia, resulting in the establishment of “the largest Web3 governance platform in Asia.”

By combining Klaytn and Finschia, their capabilities will be utilized to create a mainnet ecosystem that is fiercely competitive. This effort aims to boost the ecosystem’s spread through partnerships with well-known companies like Kakao and LINE.
Ben El-Baz, Managing Director of HashKey Global, highlighted the partnership’s alignment with their shared vision of innovation and progress within the digital asset ecosystem. El-Baz noted that major Asian tech firms, including Kakao and Line, are increasingly investing in Web3, positioning Asian blockchain communities to reclaim a leading role on the global stage.
For Line, Kaia launched its mainnet on August 29 with Telegram-like apps. Kakao and Line, Asia’s biggest social messaging companies, created the Ethereum Virtual Machine-based layer-1 blockchain. Kaia Wave, a software for creating mini-decentralized Line apps, launched with the mainnet.
In a similar development, on August 19, HashKey Group teamed up with Catizen, a Telegram Mini App. With this cooperation, which is HashKey’s first Web3 relationship, the licensed HashKey Global exchange will be able to provide dependable and compliant digital asset services to Catizen consumers. El-Baz characterised The Open Network ecosystem as “increasingly dynamic,” and this growth, combined with its quick expansion, was the impetus for partnering with Catizen.
