HealthFab raises $2.1 million in Series A round led by Atomic Capital

HealthFab has raised INR 20 crore (US$2.1 million) in a Series A funding round led by Atomic Capital.

The company will use this money to launch more period care products, expand its reach through quick commerce and retail stores, and increase its manufacturing capacity.

Kiriti Acharjee, Co founder CEO, HealthFab, says, “It took us five years to earn the trust of five lakh women. Five years of obsessing over one problem – leakage, until we solved it so completely that women stopped thinking about it altogether. That’s when we knew we’d built something real. But leakage is just one of the five days. What about the fatigue that hits on day two? The sleep that gets stolen on day three? The pain that no one talks about but every woman knows? We built trust on one product. Now we’re on a mission to serve the whole cycle — energy, sleep, pain and everything in between. The goal is five million women in three years. Not just protected. Truly cared for.”

Apoorv Gautam, Managing Partner, Atomic Capital, adds, “Womens wellness as a category is growing fast as more new age brands address and improve several aspects of it. HealthFab’s vision of building a complete care ecosystem for women not just for their days of periods but also overall health, deeply resonated with us. We believe that within women’s wellness, period care is a fast growing category and HealthFab is poised and determined to capture a large market share in the short term. Kiriti, Sourav, and Satyajit have been very open minded and easy to collaborate with from the day we met them. I believe our operating VC playbook will help unlock a lot of value and accelerate the company’s trajectory.”

Founded in 2019 by Kiriti Acharjee, Sourav Chakrabarty, and Satyajit Chakraborty, HealthFab makes affordable and innovative products for menstrual health and hygiene. The brand focuses on providing comfortable and reusable options for women.

Its most popular product is GoPadFree reusable cotton period underwear. These are leak-proof and can replace regular sanitary pads. They have multiple layers to absorb flow and can hold as much as several pads.

HealthFab was also featured on Shark Tank India. It is currently the top brand for reusable period underwear on Amazon India. The company has also received India’s only dual BIS certification, showing that its products can last up to 50 washes and have antibacterial properties.

In the coming year, HealthFab aims to grow its revenue three times. It also plans to connect better with customers through digital platforms and become a leading period care brand in India by offering a complete wellness experience, not just products.
