HitPay, a payment infrastructure company from Singapore and Yuno a global financial infrastructure firm have teamed up to make payments easier for international businesses expanding into Asia. Their partnership aims to reduce the complexity of handling different payment methods in the region.
The collaboration combines Yuno’s technology, which finds the fastest and most successful way to process payments, with HitPay’s wide network of local payment options, remittance services and e-wallets. This helps businesses accept payments smoothly across many Asian markets.
Through this partnership, Yuno’s global merchants can instantly access HitPay’s coverage of important local payment methods and national schemes. They can accept popular e-wallets like GCash (Philippines), ShopeePay, GrabPay, Touch’ n Go (Malaysia), and Kakaopay (South Korea). They can also support bank transfers and QR code payments via systems like PayNow (Singapore), QRPH (Philippines), and QRIS (Indonesia).
The integration also includes HitPay’s recurring billing feature. This allows Yuno to help global merchants manage subscriptions and repeat payments using local payment methods. This is especially useful for subscription-based businesses and SaaS companies looking to grow in Asia.
“The most difficult challenge for global businesses expanding into Asia is local payment compliance and connectivity,” said Aditya Haripurkar, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder, HitPay.
“Integrating HitPay’s fast, deep local infrastructure complements our offering in this crucial region, ensuring clients can boost revenue through truly localized checkout experiences while retaining full central control and visibility,” he added.
This partnership also underscores the companies’ shared vision to simplify global commerce by connecting international merchants to local payment infrastructure with speed, reliability, and flexibility, said the statement.
