Travel-tech company Holiday Tribe has raised INR 25 crore (about $3 million) in its Pre-Series A funding round, led by its existing investor Powerhouse Ventures.
The round also included investments from GSF and several unnamed angel investors.
This funding, which includes both equity and debt, comes after Holiday Tribe’s INR 5.4 crore seed round in September 2024. Since then, the company says it has grown more than three times.
The new funds will be used to improve AI systems, strengthen supplier partnerships, and upgrade the company’s mobile and desktop platforms.
Holiday Tribe plans to boost real-time personalisation, optimise travel itineraries, and enhance customer support, while growing its network of hotels and activities to give travellers more customised options.
Founded in 2022 by Anshu Sharma and Chirag Goyal, Holiday Tribe creates customised holiday packages.
The company uses its technology to deliver speed, scale, and accuracy in designing travel experiences.
The startup expects its total GMV to cross ₹500 crore within a year. It last raised ₹5.4 crore in its seed funding round in 2024.
Holiday Tribe has planned trips to over 30 destinations worldwide, supported by a network of more than 100,000 hotels and 1 million activities.
It has also partnered with tourism boards in Abu Dhabi, Mauritius, Dubai, Switzerland, and Singapore.
