SUMMARY

  • Rozenama has raised $150,000 in pre-Seed funding from Iraqi entrepreneur Mohammed Haider.
  • Founded in 2022, the Baghdad-based startup helps Iraqi merchants manage online sales, orders, inventory, payments, and delivery.

Founded in Baghdad in 2022 by Abbas Muhil and Mohammed Fawzi, Rozenama provides an online platform designed to help Iraqi merchants sell and manage their businesses online. The platform supports local delivery services and payment options, including cash on delivery.

Many retailers in Iraq still use Instagram and WhatsApp to sell their products. They usually take orders through messages and keep track of their stock manually.

Rozenama wants to make this process easier by bringing everything into one online platform. This allows merchants to manage their orders, inventory, and online sales in one place and grow their businesses more easily.

Over the past year, the number of active merchants using Rozenama has grown from 250 to more than 900. The platform now has over 13,000 registered users.

The company plans to launch a completely rebuilt version of its platform on August 25, 2026. The new funding will mainly be used to improve the platform and expand its merchant network across Iraqi governorates outside Baghdad.

Rozenama said areas outside Baghdad have driven most of its growth over the past six months, so the company plans to focus more on these markets.
