Indonesian climate tech startup Jejakin has raised $2.7 million for its carbon management platform.
PT ITM Bhinneka Power, Indogen Capital, SMDV, and East Ventures are notable corporates, Jejakin remarked. The announcement says this cash will go to R&D, technological advancement, market growth, and others.

With this money, it hopes to develop, improve its platform, and help more organisations and individuals take climate action.
“We are confident the funding will drive us forward in our mission to enhance environmental conditions by accelerating climate actions with technology,” said Arfan Arlanda, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Jejakin.
The co-founders think companies and individuals must work together to solve climate change. Climate change is one of the biggest global issues, affecting Indonesia and other nations.
Indonesia is one of the most vulnerable countries to climate change, with increasing sea levels, harsh weather, and agricultural output disruptions, according to the ADB. Indonesia has made proactive measures to address this urgency.

Longtime participants in the Voluntary Carbon Market have introduced an obligatory carbon market. This new market seeks Enhanced Nationally Determined Contribution targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in energy and industry.
