KapKap, a Web3 platform that uses AI to reward users based on attention in gaming, has raised a total of $10 million through its seed and strategic funding rounds.
The funding round was led by Animoca Brands, a leading company in the blockchain gaming space. Other investors include Shima Capital, Mechanism Capital, Klaytn Foundation, and Big Brain Holdings.
KapKap has received more funding in a follow-up strategic round from Unicorn Verse, Rzong Capital, and BGX Capital. This strong support shows investors’ confidence in KapKap’s vision to build a digital economy where attention, creativity, and participation are rewarded.
KapKap plans to use the new funds to grow its Key Attention Pricing System (KAPS) — a system that helps measure and reward user attention in games.
The company also aims to work with more game developers and launch new casual games that will bring millions of new users into the Web3 gaming world.
KapKap has partnered with well-known brands like BAYC, ApeCoin DAO, and SNK, and collaborates with popular games such as Summon of Glory and Idle Knights.
The company already has 1.7 million monthly users and 25,000 daily users playing games like Summon of Glory and Idle Knights. This fast-growing player community shows that KapKap’s idea of rewarding attention is working well and gaining strong support.
The funds will also be used to expand the KAPS system, improve AI-based reputation tools, and upgrade developer tools so that game creators can easily add KAPS to their own games.
By focusing on usefulness and transparency, KapKap hopes to attract both regular gamers and developers who want fairer ways to earn money from games.
