[FUNDING NEWS] Philippines-Based Kindred Health Secures $5.5 Million in Pre-Series A Round Funding

The Philippines-based female technology startup Kindred Health Inc. has successfully concluded its pre-Series A investment round, garnering a total of $5.5 million.

The company said in a statement on Monday that the first tranche of funding it is raising is $2.5 million. In addition, it has agreements in place for an additional $3 million in the second tranche, contingent on reaching significant benchmarks.

According to the announcement, this raises the round’s total funding to $5.5 million, demonstrating the significant investor trust in Kindred’s vision and potential.

Integra Partners led this funding round, according to the announcement, and notable investors like Dr. Frans Beltran and Micaela Beltran, as well as Kaya Founders, KSR Ventures, Ava Zobel Pessina, Pawikan Capital Group, and Tenco Capital also participated.

Pulse63 Healthcare Ventures, a venture builder with a focus on healthcare, is steadfast in its support of Kindred’s goal and continues to play a critical role in directing the company’s growth and strategic direction.

The primary strategic goals for this most recent funding include global expansion, technological investments, the creation of new services, and enhancements to already-existing ones.

By year’s end, the company intends to open 10 more clinics, primarily in underprivileged areas, to provide women in the Philippines with more access to high-quality medical treatment.

Additionally, it wants to enhance its digital platforms even more so that users may interact with it online and offline (O2O) with greater ease.

It intends to introduce new services that are specifically designed to address important women’s health issues, such as menopause, infertility, and infectious diseases, in addition to improving the current offers.

Personalised and comprehensive care solutions that enable women to make educated decisions about their health and well-being will be provided via these new services, which are intended to assist women in navigating and understanding their options.

Kindred’s commitment to leading the way in femtech innovation in the Philippines is demonstrated by these strategic efforts.
