Level3AI secures $13 million seed round led by Lightspeed

Singapore-based Level3AI has raised $13 million in seed funding in a round led by Lightspeed. The money will be used to invest in research and development and to expand across the Asia-Pacific region.

Other investors in the round include BEENEXT, 500 Global, Sovereign’s Capital, and Goodwater Capital.

Level3AI was founded in July 2024 by Harry Yu and Zachary Wang. The company builds AI agents for businesses that handle customer interactions across voice, email and chat from start to finish.

Level3AI stands out because it guarantees results, such as customer satisfaction or conversion rates. If the agreed targets are not met, the company offers full refunds.

“The previous generation of chatbots simply can’t deliver the quality that enterprises need,” said co-founder and CEO Harry Yu. “With recent advancements in AI, we saw an opportunity to elevate customer experience at scale. We don’t sell AI software; we sell guaranteed customer experience outcomes.”

The startup said it has been self-funded and profitable over the past 18 months. It currently works with regional brands like GetGo, Carousell, Yuu Rewards, and Carsome. So far, its AI agents have managed over 10 million customer interactions for more than one million users.

“Having proven the model, now is the right time to scale — market demand and AI capabilities have reached a clear inflection point,” Yu added, adding that the company is focused on becoming “the most trusted, go-to partner for APAC enterprises looking to transform their customer engagement through AI.”

Yu said the platform is built for the linguistic and cultural diversity of APAC. It handles things like gender-appropriate addressing in Malaysia and smooth multilingual communication in places like Hong Kong.

The platform is system-agnostic, meaning it can work with existing CRM ticketing systems, telephony, and internal tools. It integrates without disrupting workflows or replacing older systems.

Lightspeed partner Pinn Lawjindakul said the firm was drawn to Level3AI’s ability to deliver consistent, human-level customer interactions at scale. “We believe the company is well-positioned to transform customer engagement for enterprises across Asia-Pacific,” she said.
