LexisNexis Risk Solutions has opened a new data centre in Malaysia to better serve customers across Asia. This move shows the company’s strong focus on providing safe and high-performance digital identity and fraud prevention services in the region.
The Malaysia centre will handle data for key markets including North Asia, Southeast Asia, and Australia. It will improve system speed and reliability for local customers, helping them grow faster.
This new facility builds on the company’s existing cloud centre in Australia and its first Asia-Pacific data centre in India, which opened in 2023.
The Malaysia data centre is designed like LexisNexis’s other global facilities and gives regional customers full access to the LexisNexis® Digital Identity Network®. Because data will now be routed locally, transactions will be faster and more efficient.
The Digital Identity Network® platform reviews over 300 million transactions every day from 180,000 websites around the world. It uses this data to help businesses quickly tell the difference between genuine users and possible fraudsters in real time.
By combining advanced behavioural intelligence with LexisNexis® BehavioSec® technology, the platform makes digital identity checks stronger and more secure for enterprises.
“Speed and reliability in digital identity verification and fraud prevention are critical for businesses across Asia,” said Thanh Tai Vo, director of fraud and identity, Asia Pacific, at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. “Our APAC data centre brings the global Digital Identity Network closer to regional customers to deliver improved performance and stability. This expansion exemplifies our commitment to empowering businesses in Asia to thrive confidently, keep their business and consumers safe and remain competitive in the digital economy.”
LexisNexis Risk Solutions uses data, advanced analytics, and technology to help businesses and government organizations make better decisions and reduce risks. Their goal is to create positive outcomes for people around the world.
