Madeed, a Saudi startup focused on preventive health and longevity, has raised $400,000 in pre-seed funding.
The round was led by Vision Ventures, with support from Saudi angel investors Mashhoor Aldubayan, Mazen Aldarrab and Abdulla Nadeem Elyas.
Founded by Dr. Adam Bataineh, Madeed is building a complete preventive health platform that focuses on finding health problems early instead of treating them after they appear.
The company uses advanced lab tests to check special health markers and spot risk signs for hundreds of possible diseases, often before any symptoms show up.
Madeed offers a membership-based service that combines lab tests, doctor reviews, and personalized health guidance.
Members get advanced blood and biomarker tests, clear health reports, and medical reviews that focus on important areas like metabolism, hormones, heart health, and inflammation.
Madeed also provides personalized health plans that include lifestyle advice, nutrition guidance, and supplements. A special feature is its custom daily supplement packs, which are created based on each person’s lab results. This makes them more accurate and useful than regular, generic supplements.
The new funding will be used to improve the product, build more clinical and lab partnerships across the region, and launch Madeed’s first group of members, starting with Saudi Arabia. The company is now beginning its early commercial phase, testing how well the product fits the market before expanding to other regions.
