
Magnachip Semiconductor Corporation has appointed Chae Lee as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective July 1, 2026. He is also expected to join the company's Board of Directors. Lee succeeds Camillo Martino, who has served as Interim CEO since August 2025 and will continue as Chairman of the Board.
Chae Lee has more than 30 years of experience in the global semiconductor industry. He has worked on power semiconductors, power management chips (PMICs), sensors, audio amplifiers, and has held leadership roles in sales, marketing, operations, and product development.
Before joining Magnachip, Lee was the CEO of Tagore Technology, a company that develops Gallium Nitride (GaN) semiconductor solutions for radio frequency and power applications. Earlier in his career, he also held senior leadership positions at Insyte Systems, NXP Semiconductors, and Maxim Integrated Products, where he helped drive product innovation and business growth.
“Chae has a strong background ideally suited to guide Magnachip through its next phase of growth,” said Camillo Martino, Chairman of the Board. “Chae brings a unique combination of deep technical expertise, operational leadership and commercial experience across both power ICs and system solutions. His experience aligns perfectly with Magnachip’s strategy to strengthen our product portfolio, accelerate innovation and expand our presence in high-value power semiconductor markets.”
