Nexmedis raises undisclosed funding co-led by East Ventures and Forge Ventures

This grant will further Nexmedis’ goal to transform healthcare operations, improve clinical services, and improve patient outcomes throughout Indonesia. With this cash, the company can offer its services to hospitals all around Indonesia. The company also intends to introduce specialized AI solutions to address Indonesia’s healthcare issues.

Nexmedis has provided services to more than 400 healthcare establishments since August 2023. The Ministry of Health has approved its AI for medical diagnostics under the Regulatory Sandbox initiative. Additionally, Nexmedis has formally partnered with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to digitalize health using AI and with top universities like Gadjah Mada University for research.

Additionally, Nexmedis is creating an AI-powered transcription tool that summarizes and transforms voice notes into organized digital recordings of patient-doctor interactions. This approach hopes to free healthcare professionals to concentrate more on patient care by reducing paperwork and streamlining processes. The tool will shortly be released.
