Nuyug, a celebration-wear jewellery brand, has raised INR 2.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by AJVC, with support from other strategic angel investors.
The startup will use the funds to expand its online and offline presence, launch more products for different cultural and regional preferences, and invest in R&D and design to improve quality and durability.
Nuyug was co-founded in 2024 by Ankur Dua and Manali Thareja as a mass-premium jewellery brand that bridges the gap between imitation and fine jewellery.
It offers skin-safe, gold-toned designs created especially for weddings, festivals, and other special occasions.
In only 8 months, Nuyug says it has reached over INR 1 crore in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and launched more than 400 products designed for festivals and social occasions.
The brand sells through its own D2C website and has also expanded to marketplaces like Myntra, Nykaa Fashion, and Amazon.
AJVC, founded by Aviral Bhatnagar, invests in early-stage startups with high growth potential.
It has also backed Mithila Foods, an FMCG company that makes food products from Bihar.
