Oman-based eMushrif Secures USD 7.5M to Expand Smart School Transportation 

Oman’s tech-enabled mobility startup eMushrif has raised USD 7.5 million in a funding round led by Jasoor Ventures with participation from Phaze Ventures, ITHCA Group, IDO Investments and Annex Investments.

The fresh capital will be used to drive the company’s regional expansion, with a strong focus on scaling operations in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. eMushrif also plans to further invest in product innovation and operational capabilities across its existing markets.

Adnan Alshuaili, CEO of eMushrif, said: “Globally school transportation and safety technologies represent a multi-billion-dollar market driven by rising awareness of student safety regulatory requirements, and digital transformation. Expanding into Saudi Arabia and the UAE allows us to serve more schools and families improve operator efficiency, and provide greater peace of mind to parents.”

Founded in 2016 by Adnan Alshuaili and Awadh Al Shukaili, eMushrif leverages AI, IoT, and real-time data platforms to make school transportation safer, smarter, and more efficient. Its solutions include vehicle tracking, automated attendance safety alerts, route optimization and operational oversight for schools, parents, and transport operators.

The company works closely with schools, transport providers, and government entities to enhance safety efficiency and transparency in student transportation. Currently eMushrif serves over 150,000 students across public and private schools in Oman and Kuwait.
