PhysicsWallah Teams Up with YCMOU to Offer Live Online Classes

PhysicsWallah (PW) has teamed up with Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) to offer online degree courses. These programs will include live classes and instant doubt-solving to help students learn better.

Their aim is to make higher education easier to access for everyone. They will offer four courses: MBA, MCA, MA in English, and BCA. All programs will follow UGC/AICTE rules and the new education policy (NEP 2020).

These courses will have a mix of recorded videos, live online classes, regular tests, and full student support to help learners stay on track.

YCMOU will take care of getting the needed approvals and giving out the final degrees. PhysicsWallah (PW) will handle the technology, teaching materials, and student interaction.

Aditya Agarwal, CBO-New Initiatives, of PhysicsWallah, said, “This partnership with YCMOU will support our journey towards building scalable, digitally-enabled pathways for learners to help access structured degree programs. We attempt to focus on delivering programs that are accessible, compliant, and aligned with industry expectations.” 

Prof.. (Dr.) Sanjeev Sonawane of YCMOU said, “This collaboration with PhysicsWallah continues to enhance our digital academic delivery. We are working towards ensuring that learners are receiving flexible education backed by academic rigour and regulatory alignment.”

PhysicsWallah (PW) is an education technology platform started in 2020 by Alakh Pandey and Prateek Maheshwari. The company’s main office is in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

PW began as a YouTube channel in 2016. Today, it offers online classes in many different languages to help students from all over India.

PW’s goal is to make education easy to access by offering online, offline, and combined learning options. It has tech-supported learning centers all over India.

The company provides help for test preparation, skill building, higher education, and studying abroad.

Some big investors supporting PW are Hornbill Capital, Lightspeed Ventures, Westbridge, and GSV Ventures.
