A platform for safe, AI-powered data access, offered by Tel Aviv, Israel-based PVML, has raised $8 million in seed money. NFX led the round, and FJ Labs and Gefen Capital also participated.

The money will be used by the business to increase operations and development initiatives. PVML, led by CEO Shachar Schnapp and CTO Rina Galperin, offers a data access platform with Differential Privacy-secured, AI-powered interfaces for enterprise data.

With optional support for unstructured data, the system combines sophisticated RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) with Differential Privacy to provide safe and reliable access to structured data. The platform can interact with current ones or function as a one-stop shop for identity and access management.

Founder Galperin is a former employee of Microsoft with experience in AI and natural language processing. A PhD in Differential Privacy is held by Schnapp. They are partners in business and life as a married couple, having known and collaborated for sixteen years.
