The fund is set up as a mutual fund, meaning it’s easy to buy and sell shares in it daily. It will be open to both local and international organizations that want to invest in the Qatari stock market actively.
The Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) will be a key investor in the fund, providing capital either in cash or through shares.

He added that launching the Vieira Fund is an important second step in their plan to actively manage investments. It shows that the Qatar Investment Authority is committed to supporting Qatar’s financial markets.
