ShipBee, a company that provides digital logistics solutions, has completed its pre-seed funding round.

It raised 855,000 Qatari riyals (around 235,000 US dollars) from both angel and institutional investors. The company is now valued at 3.57 million Qatari riyals.

The funding round was led by GrowthX Fund, which was the principal investor. Several individual investors also took part.

In addition, the company’s founders added over 150,000 Qatari riyals of their own money to the investment round.

The company plans to use the funding to improve the technology behind its platform and make the product more useful for the market.

It also aims to support its growth plans and build strategic partnerships, especially with government organizations.

ShipBee provides a complete platform that includes local and international delivery, a digital marketplace, apps for users and drivers, and special software tools for businesses.

The company has teamed up with well-known partners like Snowno, Qatar Post, DHL, China’s NEXX, and several local businesses in the trade and retail sectors.

ShipBee was officially founded in March 2024 by Tamer Raafat and Amer Azzani.

Dr. Alan Villegas, who is part of the Executive Committee at Qatar Science and Technology Park, has joined the company’s board of directors as an independent member.
