Qianhai Launches New Program to Support Global AI Solo Entrepreneurs

On March 18, Qianhai, a major center for business, services, and technology innovation in southern China, opened applications for its Qianhai OPC (One-Person Company) International Community and launched the global OPC Mavericks Program.

The goal of this initiative is to create a strong global ecosystem for AI-powered one-person businesses, following the idea of “All Innovation, Zero Distraction.”

Qianhai is known as one of China’s leading areas for business growth and innovation. It plays an important role in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area by supporting cross-border business, new policies, and business-friendly reforms. Over time, it has become a major hub for advanced services, technology research, and startups, connecting global talent, investment, and technology with a large market.

The OPC Mavericks Program is designed for six types of top talent, including researchers, experienced tech professionals, AI competition winners, young talented individuals, open-source contributors, and top graduates in AI and computer science. The program focuses on projects that use advanced technologies like generative AI, large language models, AI agents, and automation to build strong and sustainable businesses.

This program is the world’s first accelerator specially created for one-person companies. It offers a customized platform to help individuals build and grow their AI-based businesses more easily.

To support startups, the program provides many benefits, such as free office space for up to two years, housing support, free computing resources, access to AI tools, easier entry into the Greater Bay Area market, loans without collateral, funding support, and rewards for talent. It also offers help with visas, finance, legal matters, and global internet access, making it easier for entrepreneurs to focus on building their businesses.

To help innovators from around the world explore opportunities, Qianhai introduced the Shenzhen-Hong Kong 72-Hour Experience Pass in 2025. This pass is designed to make it easier for people to visit and understand the region.

It offers simple entry arrangements and guided tours to tech platforms, companies, and research centers in both Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Visitors can also get a closer look at the one-person company (OPC) business environment.

Overall, this pass helps global talent explore partnership opportunities and better understand business and growth possibilities in the Greater Bay Area.
