Malaysia’s property company S P Setia Berhad has teamed up with Antler Ibex, the innovation arm of early-stage investor Antler, to launch the Setia AI & PropTech Innovation Challenge.
The duo said in a statement on Wednesday that the program is a key initiative under the Bengkel Inovasi GLC (BIG) Program aimed at addressing two significant agendas: inclusive homeownership and improved construction quality.
These goals support Setia’s mission to build sustainable and inclusive communities.
The Malaysia MADANI agenda highlights the importance of fair access to homeownership for people from all walks of life.
Setia plans to use artificial intelligence (AI) to simplify and speed up the homebuying process making it easier and more accessible for future homeowners.
This initiative reflects Setia’s strong commitment to helping everyone own a home, no matter their background or financial situation.

As part of its commitment Setia is inviting innovative and skilled startups to take part in the Setia AI & PropTech Innovation Challenge.
The challenge aims to discover and support startups working on AI and proptech solutions that align with the goals of the MADANI and BIG agendas.
Chosen startups will have the opportunity to collaborate with Setia, access valuable resources and mentorship and potentially receive investment to help bring their ideas to life.

Applications are now open on the F6S platform and will close on August 31, 2025.
