Sammy King Appointed General Manager of W Macau – Studio City

In his new role, Sammy will focus on providing excellent guest experiences, improving hotel operations and strengthening business performance. He will also help develop the unique experiences that make W Macau – Studio City stand out.

Sammy King brings 38 years of experience in the hospitality industry across Mainland China and Hong Kong. He has worked in both hotel operations and commercial leadership roles.

He started his career in hotel operations, where he spent 10 years before moving into sales leadership. In these roles, he helped several hotel brands grow their businesses.

Sammy has also worked with luxury hotel brands such as St. Regis and Mandarin Oriental. His wide experience gives him a strong understanding of guest needs and will help him lead W Macau – Studio City in Macau’s fast-growing luxury hospitality market.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Sammy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing Management, from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).

Outside of work, Sammy enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and staying fit. His interests reflect his active and energetic personality.
