ServeClub Raises Seed Funding to Grow and Expand in India

ServeClub, a brand that makes pickleball gear, has just finished its seed funding round. The round was led by Manish Poddar, co-founder of Rare Rabbit, with support from Pratham Mittal, founder of Masters’ Union and Tetr, and Malika Sadani, co-founder of The Moms Co. The money raised will help ServeClub speed up product development and quickly grow its presence across India through both online and offline stores.

ServeClub was started by a group of entrepreneurs from the US, Cuba, Mexico, Germany, and India, who are all studying at Tetr College of Business. The company is helping India’s growing pickleball community by making high-quality gear more affordable and easier to get.

Until now, the pickleball market in India has mostly been dominated by costly international brands, with paddles often costing more than Rs 15,000.

ServeClub provides a strong local option with USAPA-certified paddles that are designed for comfort and priced between Rs 7,000 and Rs 9,000.

ServeClub’s first plan to grow is to work closely with pickleball courts and clubs across India to build a strong presence. They will also organize events and work with others to connect with players and important people in the pickleball community.

Next, ServeClub plans to grow by selling directly to customers through online marketing and e-commerce websites to keep expanding.

The brand has already teamed up with more than 25 companies, including sports stores, pickleball clubs, event organizers, fitness brands, and corporate wellness programs. They aim to increase their monthly sales by 20-25% in the next six months.

“I am excited to lead the seed round for ServeClub, a brand that is filling a significant gap in the Indian sports equipment market. The rapid growth of pickleball presents a unique opportunity to offer high-quality, affordable gear tailored for Indian players,” said Manish Poddar, Co-founder of Rare Rabbit.

“I am happy to support ServeClub’s vision of making quality pickleball equipment accessible across India. Their focus on building strong partnerships and fostering community engagement will be key drivers in scaling the sport’s reach and creating lasting impact in the market,” said Malika Sadani, Co-founder of Moms and Co.

“Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in India, yet access to quality, affordable gear remains limited. We see a significant opportunity to serve this emerging community by providing professional-grade equipment designed specifically for Indian players. With this funding, we plan to expand our product range deepen partnerships with courts and clubs, and create engaging events to grow the sport’s footprint. Our goal is to make ServeClub the trusted brand for pickleball enthusiasts across the country as the game continues its rapid rise,” said Jeet Totla, Co-founder of ServeClub.
