Shieldbase AI, a startup from Singapore that builds an AI operating system for businesses, has announced new funding. The investment round was led by GenAI Fund and First Move, with support from Tenity and several well-known angel investors.
In a statement on Tuesday, Shieldbase said the new funds will help the company grow faster across the Asia-Pacific region and speed up the launch of new products. These products aim to solve a major problem in business AI: making sure different systems work well together and are properly managed.
With this boost, Shieldbase is expanding its presence in the region and improving its AI system to understand business needs better and fully automate processes.
New features coming soon include improved connectors, better data processing tools, and ready-to-use automation templates — all designed to make AI easier to use and more effective for businesses.
“Our mission at Shieldbase is to break through AI silos and empower enterprises to unlock a new era of intelligent operations — where every system, tool, and agent works in harmony to drive speed, clarity, and strategic advantage,
“With the backing of GenAI Fund, First Move, and our incredible angel investors, we’re transforming fragmented AI stacks into a unified operating system that delivers real impact — from automation and governance to measurable business outcomes,” said Diego Rojas, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder at Shieldbase AI.
According to the company, many businesses are now using lots of different tools, systems, and AI solutions in other departments. But the big problem is that these technologies don’t work well together.
This creates messy data, disconnected workflows, and poor results from AI investments.
Shieldbase is solving this with its AI operating system, which it calls the “Cursor for the Workplace.” It acts like a smart layer that brings everything—data, software, and AI tools—into one connected system.
This helps companies stay in control, cut down on extra work, and find new ways to make money. At the same time, it keeps things secure and properly managed.
Shieldbase is changing how businesses use AI by turning scattered tools into one smooth, automated system that helps them grow as AI-powered companies.
Many companies have a hard time getting real value from using separate, disconnected tools. Shieldbase solves this by offering one unified platform that brings different AI tools together into smooth, organized workflows.
Its flexible, modular design allows it to be customized for different businesses, including white-label and on-premise setups. It can be up and running in just a few hours instead of taking months.
Shieldbase helps companies see quick results while still meeting strict standards for security, scalability, and compliance.
“Enterprise AI isn’t broken because of too few tools — it’s broken because the tools don’t talk to each other,” said Audra Pakalnyte, General Partner at First Move.
“Shieldbase is building the infrastructure layer that turns fragmented AI pilots into unified and high-impact workflows,
“This is exactly the kind of bold, first-mover thinking we back,” she added.
Denning Tan, Partner at GenAI Fund, added that what sets Shieldbase apart is their understanding that AI fragmentation is the single biggest barrier to success in enterprise AI.
“While others build more tools, Shieldbase has built the operating system that makes all tools work together,
“This is the infrastructure the market needs to shift from experimentation to transformation,” he added.
