Catalytic Capital for Climate and Health (C3H), part of Temasek Trust, has led a US$1.2 million funding round for Singapore-based AI healthtech startup Injewelme. The round also included investment from the UK-based Richardson Family office.
The company will use this funding to improve its DeepHealthVision (DHV) technology. It plans to add new features to track things like blood sugar, stress levels, fatigue, and hydration, and also improve how it detects health issues related to climate conditions.
Injewelme’s DHV technology helps doctors check a patient’s vital signs without any physical contact. It uses a regular camera to measure over 20 health indicators—like heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels—in about 30 seconds.
“Injewelme’s technology and approach exemplify a highly scalable and relevant solution at the intersection of climate and health. A rise in climate-related stressors will result in increased physiological strain on individuals and communities. We are pleased to support injewelme in the deployment and further development of their technology to anticipate and address the impact of heat-related stress,” said Ryan Tan, Head, C3H.
“The Richardson family are delighted to be supporting injewelme at this point of their development, in conjunction with C3H. The family has long-championed innovation and entrepreneurship in the markets in which they operate around the world, and injewelme embodies both of those traits,” said a Richardson family spokesperson.
“We are deeply grateful to all our investors and partners for their support of injewelme. This financing catalyses injewelme’s mission to deliver cost-effective, proactive and data-driven health monitoring at scale. Beyond one-time health snapshots, we aim to enable anyone to easily and continuously track their health in everyday life, unlocking long-term health insights and advancing AI-driven predictive, preventive care,” said James Moon, Founder and CEO, injewelme.
Founded in 2020 by James MOON, Injewelme is a Singapore-based AI health technology company that focuses on improving preventive and personalized healthcare. It uses data collected over time and artificial intelligence to give better health insights.
The company turns everyday devices, like cameras, into simple health monitoring tools. This allows people to track their health continuously instead of relying on one-time checkups.
Injewelme works with hospitals, companies, and government partners to provide digital health solutions. These tools help predict health issues early, manage public health better, and support data-driven wellness programs.
