Singapore’s Crypto.com Opens Office in Washington, D.C.

Crypto.com, a cryptocurrency trading platform based in Singapore, announced on Wednesday that it will open a regional office in Washington, D.C., for North America.

According to the company’s statement, the office will be located in Downtown Washington, D.C., near the White House.

Crypto.com said, “The U.S. market is key to our growth plan and is the most exciting area for our whole industry.”

“With a maturing regulatory environment under the current Administration and key members of Congress’ leadership, building out our presence and workforce in the nation’s capital will support our collective efforts in responsibly advancing our business and the sector,” said Matt David, President of North America and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Crypto.com.

According to the statement, the Crypto.com office in Washington, D.C., will mainly focus on public and government matters for its U.S. operations.

The office will be filled with current staff, and more people will be hired soon.

This is Crypto.com’s newest office in North America, after opening its North America headquarters in Tyler, Texas, in 2024.

Crypto.com was founded in 2016 and is used by over 100 million people worldwide. The company wants to speed up the use of cryptocurrency through new ideas and improvements.
