Pinetop Technology Venture Sdn. Bhd. and Malaysian technology company Systech have Partnered to create and run data centers.

Pinetop Technology Venture and Systech’s wholly-owned subsidiary SysAIU Sdn. Bhd have signed a collaboration agreement for the formation, development, and management of data centers and related commercial activities, Systech said in a bourse filing on Thursday.

The purpose of the agreement’s execution is to clearly outline each party’s roles and responsibilities with regard to the project in order to promote effective teamwork and the utilization of their combined expertise to meet shared business goals.

Because it is reliant on the money made from the project, the agreement has no set value.

The primary duties and scope of SysAIU include obtaining the infrastructure and hardware needed for the project, such as servers, GPUs, cooling systems, power supply units, networking equipment, storage systems, and graphics processing units (GPUs).

In order to guarantee optimal performance, dependability, and adherence to industry standards, SysAIU must also supervise the installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of the infrastructure and equipment. Additionally, it must offer technical assistance, training, and resources pertaining to the infrastructure and equipment to guarantee the data center staff and stakeholders utilize them effectively and efficiently.

Meanwhile, Pinetop’s primary duties and scope include providing technical expertise and support for running an artificial intelligence (AI) data center, which includes managing the high-performance GPU equipment and servers on a daily basis.

In order to improve the value proposition of an AI data center, the company is also responsible for creating and delivering the necessary software and applications, such as creating AI apps, computational vision and image recognition, and others.

As per the agreement, the parties will consult and decide together on the project’s marketing plans, budget, and other operational details.

To align on financial planning, resource allocation, and promotional activities, this entails holding frequent meetings, consulting with one another, and participating in collaborative decision-making processes.

Together, they will create a thorough project plan that includes deadlines, checkpoints, deliverables, roles, and duties to guarantee the project’s successful start and finish.

In order to preserve a cordial and fruitful working relationship, they will also work together to address and resolve any problems, difficulties, or disagreements that may come up throughout the project.

This entails creating an unambiguous communication protocol and an escalation procedure for handling disputes.

The agreement will go into effect on September 5, 2024, and last for two years before automatically renewing for an additional year on a yearly basis.

Pinetop is a company that specializes in the creation and management of AI data centers as well as the development of software for information technology, which includes designing and constructing mobile and online applications as well as huge language modules.

Systech is a publicly traded company in Malaysia that operates in three major business segments: e-logistics, cybersecurity, and human resource management systems.
