Teleport Teams Up with Shipsy to Use AI for Better Delivery Tracking in Southeast Asia

Teleport, a logistics company from Malaysia, has partnered with Shipsy, an AI-powered transport management provider from India.

Together, they will add a last-mile transport management system to the Teleport Network to make deliveries more efficient.

Teleport said in a statement on Wednesday that this integration unlocks greater real-time, last-mile shipment visibility for its customers across Southeast Asia.

In Southeast Asia, one of the biggest problems for online shoppers has been late deliveries and the lack of real-time tracking.

Studies show that advanced tracking can speed up deliveries by up to 20%, which is important because today’s eCommerce customers expect accurate delivery times and live tracking updates.

With Shipsy’s system, Teleport has improved its last-mile delivery operations. The new features include smart parcel sorting, better route planning, fleet management, and real-time tracking. This has made deliveries faster, more accurate, and more cost-effective, while also reducing errors and delays.

During a pilot test in Singapore, the system saved Teleport’s operations team around five hours of work each week by automating complex manual tasks.

After the successful trial, Teleport has now rolled out the system across its last-mile operations in Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia, giving customers a more reliable delivery experience.

“As the operator of Southeast Asia’s largest asset-light air network, our mission is to always be faster, cheaper, and better,

“This demands a more efficient technology stack which allows us to be resilient, adapt to real-time volume changes, and scale without the need to increase manual effort,” said Milan Dhingra, Chief Product and Technology Officer in Teleport.

“Shipsy’s expertise has been key to improving the resilience and accuracy of our last-mile operations,

“Our next phase is to roll this out to our first-mile operations for all markets except China, to replicate the same level of accuracy end-to-end,” he added.

Soham Chokshi, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Shipsy, said the firm is thrilled to partner with Teleport.

“With Teleport’s massive presence and expertise in SEA and rapidly growing operations in Asia Pacific (APAC), its focus on tech-driven customer experience enhancement and Shipsy’s cutting-edge AI capabilities, together we will set a new benchmark in autonomous supply chain standards,” he added.
