The platform is designed to bolster the implementation of the “We the UAE Vision 2031″– a comprehensive national strategy aimed at diversifying the Emirati economy, fostering innovation, and promoting sustainable development and environmental stewardship.

The new UAE Vision 2031 Strategic Intelligence Hub will equip UAE officials with cutting-edge tools to monitor trends across the Vision’s four pillars: Forward Economy, Forward Society, Forward Diplomacy and Forward Ecosystem. This represents a major innovation in public policy, where artificial intelligence developed by the Forum will connect the dots between strategic developments across industries, economies and global issues by drawing on the collective intelligence of its extensive global knowledge and expert networks.

“By integrating Strategic Intelligence into the UAE Vision 2031, the UAE is demonstrating how advanced intelligence and foresight solutions can transform government capacity,” said Olivier Schwab, Managing Director, World Economic Forum. “Our new platform will help strengthen the UAE’s position as a leader in driving forward-thinking solutions to global challenges.”

The platform encompasses 78 priority policy areas of strategic importance to the UAE, offering dynamic, AI-enabled briefings for government officials based on a vast library of Forum reports, academic articles and expert insights, including from the Forum’s network of content partners. These tailored datasets will help inform policy decisions and strategic initiatives aligned with UAE Vision 2031 objectives. Additionally, the platform serves as a whole-of-government policy hub where stakeholders can share transformative ideas and initiatives, fostering a collaborative approach to national development.

“This partnership represents a significant step towards data-driven policy-making and showcases the UAE’s commitment to using advanced technology in pursuit of its national vision,” said H.E. Huda Al Hashimi, Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Affairs, Office of the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates. “By harnessing the power of AI and strategic foresight, the UAE is positioning itself at the forefront of innovative leadership models in the 21st century. “

In parallel, the UAE government has established eight UAE Strategic Intelligence Councils, in collaboration with the Forum’s Global Future Councils. These UAE-led councils will bring together leadership from UAE government entities with experts from the Forum’s Network of Global Future Councils and executive leaders from the private sector. Their mandate is to provide strategic recommendations directly to the UAE Prime Minister’s Office, ensuring that the insights generated by the platform translate into actionable policies.

The launch of the Strategic Intelligence platform and related initiatives underscores the importance of public-private partnerships in addressing complex global challenges and offers a model for other nations seeking to enhance their strategic planning and adoption of advanced technological solutions.
