
Thunder Code, a company from Tunisia, has raised $9 million in early funding. This money will help the team improve their platform, make their AI technology stronger, and grow into international markets.
The funding round was led by the Silicon Badia Fund, with support from Janngo Capital, the Titan Seed Fund, and several experienced individual investors.
Thunder Code plans to use the funding to make its platform better in several ways:
1. Improving the platform:
- Add new features, like better integration with CI/CD tools (used to automate software development).
- Create smart test plans using AI to save time and boost accuracy.
2. Growing the business:
- Build stronger partnerships with other companies.
- Expand into more international markets.
Thunder Code’s platform lets people who don’t have technical skills create and run automated software tests just by using simple, natural language commands.
The platform uses AI agents that can understand how an app works, build test scenarios on their own, and even find security problems automatically.

Thunder Code was started in 2025 by Karim Gweni and Jihad Othmani.
Founders’ experience:
Before this, they co-founded Expensya, a company that helps businesses manage expenses online. Expensya raised $25.6 million in funding.
