
Thunes has announced two new senior leadership appointments. Guy Duncan has joined as Chief Technology and Product Officer (CTPO), while Parvinder Bhatia has joined as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
These appointments mark a new phase of growth for Thunes as the company continues to expand its Direct Global Network and strengthen its technology and financial strategy.
Guy Duncan brings strong experience in digital transformation and scaling technology platforms. He previously worked as CTO at Tide and OVO Energy.
Earlier in his career, he also led digital transformation projects at BMW across 64 markets and helped grow Tide’s platform from 50,000 to more than 1 million users.
At Thunes, Guy will lead the technology and product teams, focusing on building strong teams and using AI to improve global money transfer services.
Parvinder Bhatia joins from bunq, where he served as CFO and supported the bank’s international expansion. With over 24 years of experience in fintech, private equity, and venture-backed companies, he will now lead Thunes’ global finance operations as the company continues to grow its global payments network.
