TP-Link Malaysia has partnered with Freshtel Internet by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The goal is to improve home internet connectivity as demand for fast and reliable WiFi continues to grow.
As part of this partnership, Freshtel Internet will add TP-Link’s HB610 WiFi 7 Tri-Band Whole Home Mesh system to its internet services.
This makes Freshtel one of the first internet service providers in Malaysia to use TP-Link’s WiFi 7 tri-band solution for home users.
Unlike regular WiFi 7 systems, the HB610 includes an extra 6GHz band. This helps reduce network congestion, especially in homes with many connected devices.
As a result, users can enjoy more stable, smoother, and consistent internet performance, even in high-usage households with multiple devices connected at the same time.
“WiFi performance within the home has become just as important as access speed,
“Through this collaboration with Freshtel Internet, we are supporting service providers with tri-band WiFi 7 solutions designed to deliver a more reliable and consistent home connectivity experience,” said Alvin Ou, Head of Enterprise & ISP Business, TP-Link Malaysia.
Steve Choo, Chief Executive Officer of Freshtel Internet, providing a dependable in-home WiFi experience is a key priority for them.
“By working with TP-Link, we are strengthening our service offerings with WiFi 7 tri-band solutions while preparing for future connectivity demands as household usage continues to evolve,” he added.
Beyond home internet services, this partnership also opens the door to future networking solutions that can be centrally managed.
TP-Link’s Omada platform offers a flexible and scalable system that can support apartments, condominiums, and hospitality networks as Freshtel Internet looks to expand its services.
In the long run, TP-Link and Freshtel Internet plan to keep working together to improve connectivity, keeping up with new technology trends and the changing needs of users.
