In the presence of Joramco’s CEO, Fraser Currie, and CPO, Hana Ibsais, the Technical and Vocational Skills Development Commission (TVSDC) signed a partnership agreement with Joramco .

This agreement intends to improve vocational training for both sides and give young Jordanians commercial airplane maintenance possibilities.

Under this partnership, TVSDC will help Joramco Academy pupils train. A four-year Aircraft Maintenance for Technicians curriculum is available at this academy, which specializes in commercial aircraft MRO.

Dr. Raghda Al-Faouri, TVSDC President, called the deal a major step toward improving youth possibilities in the Kingdom. She also stressed the strategic goal of developing brilliant and creative youth for high-demand professions locally, regionally, and internationally. This follows His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II’s vocational and technical education policies.

For 12 months, the program will help 25 aspiring talent find jobs. Jordanian students must be at least 17 years old, fluent in English, not a social security subscriber, have passed the General Secondary Certificate Examinations (Tawjihi), love aviation, and be able to pay tuition.

Dr. Al-Faouri also discussed TVSDC’s founding, goals, and accomplishments. She explained the Commission’s strategy, which includes issuing training licenses, conducting professional tests, granting practice licenses, training and classifying trainers, accrediting training providers based on professional standards, and partnering with the private sector through sector skills councils.

Dr. Al-Faouri welcomed Joramco’s partnership and involvement in developing new prospects for Jordanian youth in the aviation MRO industry.

Joramco CEO Fraser Currie stressed the company’s willingness to work with national organizations to promote the Aircraft Maintenance Program. He cited the sector’s high potential, stable career opportunities, and economic importance.

TVSDC helped Jordanian enterprises and institutions build well-organized and specialized training programs to develop youth skills in dynamic industries and prepare them for the workforce, Currie said. Jordanian talent from all governorates can attend this training.
