On Tuesday, Vietnamese electric car company VinFast announced that it has officially signed partnership agreements with four companies in the Philippines: Goodyear Philippines, Tire King and Rubber Products, Power Tread Services, and Marcjan Cavite.
VinFast said these partnerships will help the company reach its goal of setting up over 100 official service workshops across the Philippines in 2025.
Under the new agreements, VinFast will work with four experienced partners that run service centers across the Philippines. Together, they will offer maintenance, repair, and EV care services that follow VinFast’s global standards.
VinFast and Goodyear Philippines will collaborate closely to establish 50 official VinFast service workshops across the country by 2025.
In the same way, Marcjan Cavite plans to open eight workshops, while Tire King and Power Tread will each set up seven seminars.
These official VinFast service workshops in the Philippines will adhere to strict standards for their facilities, tools, equipment, and technicians’ skills.
They will also focus on providing genuine services and original parts for VinFast vehicle owners.
As part of the partnership, VinFast is committed to helping its partners with training programs, technical support, and sharing its expertise.
The goal is to quickly grow the network of official service workshops across the Philippines.
These new agreements, along with the ones signed earlier with JIGA and Motech, will help VinFast speed up the growth of its EV network in the Philippines and improve customer after-sales service.
“The collaboration with experienced and insightful local players in the Philippines is a clear testament to VinFast’s enduring commitment to developing a comprehensive electric vehicle ecosystem here,
“This marks the beginning of promising partnerships, laying a solid foundation for VinFast to serve customers better and promote a green lifestyle throughout the nation,” said Pham Sanh Chau, Chief Executive Officer of VinFast Asia.
Almost a year after entering the Philippine market, VinFast has steadily grown its presence by offering innovative EV models, great sales deals, and a strong after-sales support system.
VinFast is working hard in Southeast Asia to build a complete green ecosystem. They are focusing on growing charging stations and service networks through collaboration.
This system, which has been successful in Vietnam, is now being expanded to other promising markets, such as the Philippines.
