Water Harvesting Inc. (also known as Water Technology or WaHa) has raised $8 million in a Series A-1 funding round.

This money will be used to reorganize the company’s ownership, pay off some debts, and help expand the company’s business in the Gulf region.

Chairman Mike Phillips and Board Member Christian Therion led the tour.

Several investment groups joined the tour, including Berkeley Catalyst Fund, Anthropocene Institute, Vestafund, and Mitsui Mining & Smelting.

With this funding, WaHa aims to simplify its ownership structure and achieve its business objectives. It’s also getting ready for another round of funding in the future.

The company also plans to use the money to boost sales in the UAE and other countries in the Gulf region.

Since 2023, the company has been setting up machines that make water from air in different places, including West Texas, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Stockholm.

Right now, the company is testing its water-from-air technology at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi to see how well it works in hot desert conditions.

In September 2025, the company plans to show its first commercial WaHa Vaporator system at the WETEX exhibition in Dubai.
