Zinit Raises $2M to Transform Procurement in India with AI-Powered Solutions

Zenit has invested $2 million in India to enhance procurement through AI. Its platform streamlines the tendering process, fosters supplier diversity, and drives greater efficiency and innovation.

Zenit, a global SaaS startup changing procurement with AI technology, has announced a $2 million investment in its operations in India. This investment aims to exploit India’s $500 billion procurement market by launching its AI-powered B2B platform. The platform provides innovative and scalable solutions to improve India’s outdated and inefficient procurement systems.

Even though India’s B2B e-commerce market is expected to reach $200 billion by 2030, many of India’s procurement processes still depend on old, manual systems. Zenit plans to change this by focusing on “tail spend” — the often ignored part of procurement that makes up 30% of the total value but 80% of the transactions.

AI Led Automation

Zinit’s platform uses AI to automate processes and has a customer success team to provide real-time value. It makes cross-border tendering easy with one-click innovative supplier matching and real-time translation. It cuts tendering time by up to 80% and uses a success-based pricing model, so businesses only pay when they see results. The platform also promotes supplier diversity, with 50% of new suppliers winning bids, making procurement more inclusive and transparent.

“India is a crucial market for Zinit’s global growth. The country’s procurement sector is ready for change, and we’re excited to introduce our AI-powered solutions to help businesses improve efficiency, cut costs, and support supplier diversity,” said Anton Buzdalin, Co-Founder of Zinit.

“This $2M investment will boost our local operations, create jobs, and strengthen our partnerships with Indian businesses that want to modernize procurement,” he added.

A solid global foundation supports In Its expansion into India. The team behind Zinit previously created Bidzaar, a procurement platform in Eastern Europe that grew to over $15 billion in GMV and worked with more than 150,000 suppliers. This success is the foundation of Zinit’s approach — using proven solutions to meet the needs of complex, fast-growing markets like India.

Companies like Uflex, Vinati Organics, and Compass Group already use Zinit as their tender platform. In just six months of operating in India, over 40 companies, including L&T Financial Services and Verkko Group, have placed tenders on Zinit. The platform has helped with more than 300 tenders across manufacturing, logistics, pharmaceuticals, and retail industries. Zenit plans to keep growing by investing more in hiring talent, customer support, and product development throughout 2025.
