The pathology diagnostic division of Polo Labs has been bought by Thyrocare, a supplier of diagnostic and preventative healthcare services. The purpose of this calculated purchase is to increase Thyrocare’s presence in Northern India.
On June 25, 2021, API Holdings purchased Thyrocare for a $613 million purchase price. Thus far, $63.6 million has been raised.
Polo Labs is a pathology laboratory located in north India. It has 14 locations in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir, and offers accessible, reasonably priced diagnostic services. The laboratory uses state-of-the-art, technologically advanced equipment to meet the demands and expectations of its clients for quality.

Thyrocare claims that the acquisition will be consistent with its overarching business plan in the healthcare industry, which centres on expanding its presence throughout India and improving diagnostic capabilities.
It is a completely automated diagnostic laboratory founded by Arokiaswamy Velumani. Its goal is to supply hospitals and laboratories in India and other nations with high-quality results at reasonable prices.

The company, which is located in Mumbai, says it is present in over 2,000 places both nationally and worldwide.
