PIESHIP, a leading smart logistics and last-mile solutions provider has secured SAR 7.875 million ($2.1 million) in seed funding round led by Nama Ventures with the participation of several SEEDRA Ventures funds and angel investors.

This funding will help PIESHIP’s expansion aspirations in the Saudi market. The company intends to expand its activities to seven major cities: Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah, Dammam, Al Khobar, Qassim, and Khamis Mushait. Furthermore, PIESHIP intends to raise the number of registered drivers in its network to 5,000 captains, thereby improving delivery efficiency and offering more flexible logistics solutions.

In the forthcoming months, PIESHIP will focus on improving customer service through enhanced monitoring and communication methods, launching new services to support the logistics sector, and developing advanced AI solutions for managing fleets and data analysis to improve delivery efficiency and reduce transit times.
