Asia Mobiliti, a top mobility technology company from Malaysia, and Theoremus, a Bulgaria-based expert in intelligent transport systems (ITS), have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
The two companies will work together to explore and develop new opportunities in the transportation sector across Asia and Eastern Europe, combining their expertise in mobility and smart transport solutions.
The MoU was signed during the 9th Selangor International Business Summit 2025, marking the start of a partnership between Asia Mobiliti and Theoremus.
The collaboration will use data, technology, and innovation to make public transport systems more efficient, sustainable, and connected. The signing was witnessed by Kamelinder Singh from the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation, the national agency under the Ministry of Digital Economy.
The partnership combines Asia Mobiliti’s experience in digital mobility platforms with Theoremus’ knowledge in transport data and smart systems.
Together, the companies will use smart analytics, predictive technology, and open data to improve transport planning, fleet management, and the experience of passengers in cities and regions across Asia and Eastern Europe.
The collaboration was planned and carried out by WIPPD, led by Managing Director Raj Mendhir. WIPPD focuses on helping global companies grow and operate effectively in Malaysia.
This partnership supports Theoremus’ expansion from the UK and Europe into Malaysia and the ASEAN region. It is guided by a shared goal of innovation, smooth integration, and digital connectivity in the transport sector.
Ramachandran Muniandy, CEO and co-founder of Asia Mobiliti, said: “This partnership with Theoremus brings together complementary strengths — our experience in building digital mobility ecosystems across Southeast Asia, and their deep technical expertise in intelligent transport systems. By combining these capabilities, we can help cities and operators make data-driven decisions, optimise fleet performance, and deliver better passenger experiences. For Asia Mobiliti, this is about scaling smarter mobility through collaboration that bridges continents.”
Meanwhile, Hristo Popov, CEO at Theoremus, said: “We see great potential in this collaboration with Asia Mobiliti. Our focus has always been on creating interoperable, open systems that empower transport authorities and operators to innovate with flexibility. Working with Asia Mobiliti allows us to bring those principles into fast-growing Asean markets, where technology adoption is rapid and the appetite for smarter, sustainable mobility is strong. Together, we’re building a bridge between Europe’s transport technologies and Asia’s dynamic urban ecosystems.”
